Mail order or local

I prefer to get my parts right then and there..seems the parts stores here in Vegas have to order what i need anyway..back in Dallas i could get anything i needed the day i need it..This WAITING is really holding me up..

its the same for me, i dont like waiting. i prefer to get stuff right then and there. reno was great for this, vegas, not so much..

The waiting makes me start other things that I don't want to start..then I get to much going at once

i hear ya though. i hate ordering stuff online for that exact reason. i would much rather drive somewhere and buy it in person.

Me too..I can take old parts with me and make sure they match..saves time on having to take them back if they are wrong..besides most auto parts salespersons look like they can't even change a spark plug...

My parts should have be here Monday..Tuesday I e-mail them..Today I get an e-mail from them that one of my parts was on backorder and my complete order was shipped yesterday, I should get them Saturday..I placed this order 5/25..Damn just my luck..I'm like a kid who ordered something from a cereal box..I want my goodies now!...

I find it is especially difficult to get the parts you need from 4Wheel Parts, it should be called 4Wheel parts mail order. They NEVER have the parts in stock that I need, "we can have that here by monday". No thanks, if I want to wait for it I will get it of the internet for less!

The only thing I got from 4wd parts here in Vegas was a bikini top for the Jeep and it was rite there on the wall behind the counter...armed with this info I will call them first for jeep parts..

Just tracked my order from Morris 4x4 center placed on 5/25 and was told it would be here today 6/6..well it's in PHOENIX, AZ as of now and won't be here till 6/9...I'm so pissed off..another weekend shot..Was planning on going out Sunday..I will NEVER order anything from them again..

Finally...Parts came...Now I can quit bitchin and get busy...

I got my front bumper from 4wheel here in Vegas...e-mailed them and told them I wanted to LOOK at it first to see if the ring mounts were cut thru and welded on the back and front or just slapped on the front and welded...I all ready knew they were front welded...They had it there the next day and I paid for it without even opening the box...saved me a trip down there.

I like 4wheel parts, thier staff seems helpful and they do seem to have good prices.
