I'm hot in the market to lose my Ranger for a '09 Rubicon. We'll see if Chapman will wheel and deal a little bit. The one old guy I talked to didn't seem to motivated to budge...like I don't have the $$ or something. Guess I shoulda drove my 'Cuda to the dealership instead of my Ranger 'eh? lol

welded to the frame, sucker is going with!
we're close on price with the rubi. either i need to hold out a little longer until they bring the price down. or save a couple more bucks in the bank. But i doubt I can buy one cheaper than what we're at. Just dont have the $$

Done deal, $23k after incentives and makin a few bucks off my Ranger trade-in
I'll miss the little Ranger, but he's long gone now. Drove my 2009 Rubicon home today. It's got front and rear Dana 44s, E-lockers front and rear, electronic sway bar disconnects, bfg m/ts, rock sliders, Rubicon shocks, and the general appearance package. It's a 6speed manual, 4:1 4-lo, it's ready to rock and roll off road!

Probably early, I have to check when my buddy is working (sometimes till like 4am). So i'll find out on the time. Right now there is
Me - '09 Rubicon
Ryan - '09 Wrangler X
Possible
TYS4x4 - Ranger
WhiteLS1 - Big 'ol Chebbie
Robert - Cherokee
JR - Cherokee
I'm not sure who all can go. But I'll tell you WhiteLS1 that you may be a little too wide for that trail. Friend in a 1500 Silverado, 4x4, Short bed, regular cab (which i know is about the same size) had problems on this trail. It gets right on the rocks, where the ranger and jeeps can squeak through...you'll have to crawl over a lot more and take it slow.
I'd assume if we had a couple trucks going we'd meet at Railroad Pass (just as you come into BC, where the stop light is). From there is about 15mins to the trail head. There are a ton of whoops and such before you get to the "trail".. The first 1 1/2hours or so is a basic rocky road. Gets boring to be honest. But the second half has some decent trail riding, then goes to the "4x4 Recommended" area. Which is kinda fun. Then you end up in a good body of water you can splash around in...there is more from there (we think), but we were running out of sunlight that day.

I love those jeeps and that sounds like a major deal to me. That is what I paid for my KJ.
They don't seem nearly as likely to deal up north here in Reno. All the Rubicons on the lot are like 28K+ and they are the base model Rubicons, which are still nice, but not at all loaded.
If I were to get a new JK, it would be either white or that burnt orange and a 2 door. I love em.

Vegas definitely is the place to buy a new car! The prices are dramatically lower than Reno.
Thats where I'll go for my next purchase
