I'm doing awesome! Just trying to get the offroad scene up and running. Seems like nobody's putting on any runs......

yeah its a bit slow around here.

I started the site in hopes that it'll grow up to something pretty big. kind of like reno4x4.

but hey, its a start. only been up since early april.

i have yet to get stickers out but i know at least a person or two has joined from the stickers just on my truck. so as soon as some people get more serious and enough people want stickers i can get some made cuz they're cheaper the more you get lol

This isn't the only site that i use to get up to date runs. there's only 5 other vegas sites to choose from. I usually go out on a run 2wice a week. I just don't

have time to plan anything, and just go. There isn't enough people motivated to produce a a half way descent turn out, so i just call a few buddies and go. I just

got my jeep a year and a half ago, so i guess i'm just eager to go out all the time and hate the fact that most are just to lazy or don't want a face the heat. but

thats the whole reason i got into the jeeping thing, cause there's hardly any prep and my jeep's climate controlled.

im always down to go wheeling as long as im not at work! and i have a/c for a reason lol

After years I still get out a few times a month. Lately I have been using Geo-Caching as my excuse to get into the back hills. Pretty much how I stumbled on that trail down by Nelson.

Sweet...How's the new GPS working out for you..? I Have mine all figured out now... I posted on the other site a way to reformat your GPX files to KML files for google earth. check the trails and events page on this forum to see the Ishot of the maps. pretty sweet.

I have been interested in picking up a GPS, what kind do you have?

Randy I really love the new GPS. At times yes I would have liked to have an Oregon, but so far I am very happy with having a GPS that I am already familular with. Made the transition very easy. My wife will tell you it's because I am a tight wad though as she really wanted me to just break down and spend the money.

whitels1 I am using a Garmin GPSmap60CSx. Randy has a very slick Garmin Oregon 400T. I have several other units as well, but for Jeeping and geo-caching this is the main one I use. For the road I mainly use a Garmin Nuvi 765T. It's a very nice unit. It will map as well but not so good for Geo-Caching. Really in picking out a GPS alot depends on just what you are going to use it for as well as what your budget is. I personally just like Garmin units although there are many other nice units out there as well.

I have also found there are more garmin users out there than anything else, so trading files is easier. I have a whole bunch a trails that i received from other jeepers that made it easy to upload into my unit

Thats awesome! i didn't really know what i was doing with my gps then, so i lost those tracks.. That Rock we climb was sweet though!
