When we get trucks and cars the first thing we want to do is personalize it but when we keep adding upgrades and the lot it turns into an addiction "the bug "..I have had other 4X4's that were maxed to no end and told the wife I would not go crazy with this Jeep...she knows what 38's are..31's on the Jeep now..everything was fine UNTILL she said those tires look awful small...whammo the bugs stings me rite in the ass.. ..I calmly say well i can put a 4" lift and 33's on it...trying to contain my excitement and act like it's no big deal, and she says yeah I think it would look better..Look's?..She really don't know what she just said..Now this sting on my butt is now the size of a basketball..she thinks lift and tires..I'm blitzed with new one piece axles, lockers, hubs and replacing everything that even kinda looks wornout..Do you see how this bug works?..What's your bug doing to you?...

Re: What your 4X4 Bug?
My bug pretty much is different from most. I had a plan with my TJ before I bought it, did the mods and have kept it the same for over 3 years now. In fact when I went wheeling with some friends out of NM over the weekend they were amazed that my Jeep hasn't changed since I moved (nearly 3 years ago) as everyone else's has.
Pretty much the same when we bought the Libby. I had the Rubi rims and tires and figured I would put those on it one day and it hasn't changed in over a year and a half.
My bug is to explore and see new places.

My bug is not being able to keep things the same way over a long period of time. Don't get me wrong. I love my truck. How it looks. And how it performs. But it's never enough. Soon enough I will be supercharging it

My problem is I know what I want, but it takes time to be "perfect". If i had fabrication skills and a welder...my "to-do" list would be extensive!

My bug is trying to build a dependable trail rig with as few $$ as possible. I don't need a super crawler just something I can get out of town with and have a good time.
